Jazz + rock + some loudness.  Power fusion was the outgoing end of the jazz-rock genre, and we had some of the best exemplars in our show.

Tom Paxton, a man with a vast musical career, still not ended, beginning in the early Sixties Greenwich Village volk revival scene, and produceing to date 68 studio and live albums.  Writing and singing his own songs, accopanied on accoustic guitar, he told arresting stories with a few well-chosen words in songs three or four…

A show highlighting the career of Malcom Cecil, musician and engineer, who was responsible for the birth of one of the first synthesisers back in the Seventies, and who had producer and music credits on a lot of widely-varying albums, usually with some jazz connection. 17 listener connections at best, very satisfying.  Do join us again…

A new show with mostly contemporary tracks from our friend Nigel for International Women’s Day 2026. Well attended, 19 for most of the show with a peak of 21. Preshow was from the more established ladies of jazz, and postshow was electronic ladies.

A pleasantly low-key Sunday’s relaxation from the Philadephia pop-rock duo of surprising longevity, who stopped recording in 2021 and split with some acrimony.   None of that in the show 🙂

A nice show about a man who does not get as much credit as he should.    We covered his early success and his comeback after a long retirement from the business, and did hit all of the highlights.

Lots of people in attendence for this show, full of hope and love, something we could all do with.  We must try and follow this up with nother show, pehaps including some of the songs from an earlier era.
