64 A Bad Year for Good Music 2: Robert Stigwood

A good crowd joined us to remember the career of Robert Stigwood and the artists and shows that he was responsible for.
He more or less invented the role independent record producer, changing the way that popular music was created and marketed, and was an important part of the development of both bands and shows that achieved worldwide recognition.

Radio Free D’ni isn’t quite in that league, but we did have up to 30 listeners, with about half of you with us on the plaza.

Pre and post show music consisted of items that had not made the cut for the show – and there were plenty of them, too.
