087R Blokes
Originally entitled ‘Boys’, but on reflection, Blokes was a much more descriptive title. Dialog was completely rewritten, as the original was just a bit too clunky.
Peak 20 listeners, which was satisfying. I have to mention that the remastered shows are reworked, as the title suggests, and are in no way inferior to our new shows.
216 Lost in 2022
Our regular annual look back at musicians lost in the previous year had extra sadness this time, with one of our own from the cavern, DifferentDave, being among those memorialised.
042R A History of Pink Floyd part 1
Our first show of the year, and we were all getting over the holiday I think, with a smaller but no less enthusiastic audience than we are used to.
The History will be spaced out over several weeks, to avoid overloading on Pink. and indeed on Floyd.

215 Christmas with Radio Free D’ni, 2022
A show to round off the year and wish all our listeners a Merry Christmas season and a guid New Year. Some old favourites and a lot of new things as well, all well appreciated by our listeners in the Cavern and outside too. 27 connections at best, and of course we don’t know how many folks are listening on each connection.
084R Have a Drink On Us
Drinking-related songs, and not all to do with alcohol. Useful as preparation for the party season, maybe.
214 Ringo Starr
A very populatr show, well attended and very enlightening, as Ringo showed a good deal of singing ability, belying his reputation. Our thanks to Martin for the show.
038R Lost in 2017 Remastered
Remastering a Lost In… show is a tricky concept for us, and we did our best to renew the show by offering different tracks in celebration of the lost artists, which ended up extending the show, but making it better. Continue reading
213 John Coltrane
A fine show, and a bit edgy, as Coltrane is not an easy subject and can divide opinion along sharp lines. I’m pleased to say it was well attended and appreciated, up to 24 listeners at one point and over 20 for the whole show. Assembled by Hugh, for one of his favourite musicians, and very well done.
082R Un-covered
The first set of Un-covered tracks that we put together, with some rather fine juxtapositions. 21 listeners at one point, which is a very satisfying statistic.
212 Greenslade
Another show from esteemed collaborator Martin Lewis, this time on a prog rock band who began as a quartet with two keyboards, bass and drums, and no guitarist. Formed out of the ashes of Colosseum, a pioneering prog band, it continued in that direction. A good selection of tracks covering their two periods recorded in studio albums, appreciated by 25 listeners at one point.
