113 Can
A fine set of tracks from a rather unusual and very forward-looking German band, Can. Put together by Hugh, and with pronunciation coaching by Malaclypse, but I still managed to get almost every name wrong.

Yes, we Can!
Sunday, 3rd of March, we will present German Krautrock/psychedelic/prog band Can. A somewhat (and intentionally) mysterious band, as well as influential in the genesis of 1970s Prog.
See you in the Cavern,

112 Jon Hiseman
This show was very much one that I put together, as Jon Hiseman is a musician I have followed since I first became aware of him, and admired everthing he’s done. I was quite surprised to learn that he is not well known, and neither is his most famous band, Colosseum – neither Mal nor Ed was familiar with them, nor were many of our audience. Some were though (Mysty for a start) and others liked what we played. Which is what we’re aiming for, really.
A trawl through the highlights of a very varied career, not in terms of succsss (which was never a primary driver) but in the styles of music and ways of expression. Somewhat stellar in that respect. I only hope we did him justice.

111 MOULa 9th Anniversary
A magnificent audience for this show, combining both RFD and MOULa fans and publicity from Minasunda and our companions in the program of events.
The ninth anniversary meant that we used a combination of the number 9, willow, leather, pottery and copper as our themes, along with some soundtrack music and music from cavern explorers.
There was no postshow, as we went straight into the Magic Light Show. The soundtrack for that, and the dance party that followed, are included below.

For a change, a show consisting solely of live tracks, from the under-appreciated Jack Bruce. All from his work with small groups of friends under his own leadership. This one was put together by Hugh, who is a big fan of Jack Bruce, and chose a great selection of tracks.

109 Pat Metheny
With many of our American audience suffering under snow and a lack of telecoms, including our colleague Root Beer, we still had 17 listeners for our canter through just a part of the career of Pat Metheny. The show was put together by Hugh. Links as promised in the show are below the playlist tables.

108 Lost in 2018
Our first show of the year, and as is now traditional (as far as we can make it, being only a few years old ourselves) the show looked at artists and musicians who left us in 2018.
Notes, and artist suggestions, were contributed by Malaclypse and Hugh, as it was a very busy year, and we put in as many mentions as we could.
We had thirty listeners, which is very pleasing for the first show of the year – thanks to you all – bring a friend?
